Size Guide
Garments are measured flat, in inches — laid on a table, not worn. Chest is measured straight across the front, seam to seam, one inch below the armhole; double it for the full chest circumference. Body length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem. Those are the manufacturer’s own conventions, and the numbers below are their published figures for the blank we print on.
Our tees are the Comfort Colors 1717, a heavyweight garment-dyed 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton tee with a relaxed fit and no side seams. It is pre-shrunk, but garment-dyed cotton is a living fabric — expect a little softening and a little shrink over the first few washes. If you want a closer fit, size down; if you want it roomy, take your usual size.

Measurements are the manufacturer’s published figures for the Comfort Colors 1717, and are accurate to within about half an inch — normal tolerance for a garment-dyed tee.
How to pick a size without guessing
Take a t-shirt you already own and like the fit of. Lay it flat, smooth out the wrinkles, and measure it the same two ways described above — across the chest one inch below the armhole, and from the top of the shoulder to the hem. Match those two numbers to the closest row in the table. That is more reliable than measuring your own body, because it compares a shirt to a shirt.
Tumblers and stickers have no sizing and are not listed here. If a tee arrives and its measurements do not match the chart above, that is on us — see the returns page.
